On peut penser que la mise en œuvre d'innovations apportées à un programme d'études influence les décisions que prennent les maîtres en ce qui concerne leur enseignement en classe. Pour le bon succès des « stratégies » de mise en œuvre, il faut connaître la manière dont les maîtres prennent les décisions en question, ainsi que les raisons pour lesquelles ils les prennent. Cette étude examine les raisons données par 81 enseignants, au cours d'entrevues d'une durée de deux à trois heures.
