Abstract

Implementing curriculum innovations can be conceptualized as influencing the decisions teachers make about their classroom instruction. The effectiveness of implementation strategies depends on knowledge about how teachers make such decisions and why. This study examined the reasons given by 81 teachers for their curriculum decisions.
