Keywords:
Adult education, Continuing education, Socioeconomic determinants, Multivariate regressionAbstract
Our multivariate regression analysis of 1984 Adult Education Survey data identifies significant influences on the propensity of individuals aged 25 and over to take courses and on types of courses they choose. Among such influences are age, education of self and parents, labour force characteristics, marital status, relationship to head, place of birth, language, and place of residence.
