Student Perceptions of Occupational Characteristics

On a utilisé l’échelle différentielle sémantique (DS) pour étudier la nature des caractéristiques d’activités, telles qu’elles sont perçues par les élèves de 9e année. L’objectif était de voir si les facteurs décrivant ces caractéristiques pouvaient être identifiés en utilisant la différentielle sémantique. On a utilisé 41 échelles DS avec deux listes différentes de 21 types d’activités. Une analyse où le facteur était considéré comme élément principal a permis de dégager six facteurs. On a sélectionné 19 des 41 échelles DS comme mesures de ces six facteurs.
