This study examines student teachers’ perception of university supervisors’ support during a final practicum in a physical education teaching program. 166 student teachers answered a self-reported questionnaire. Results show that 84.3% consider this support has a positive contribution to their learning experience. The quality of the discussions was noted as a major factor of satisfaction for 48.6% of the student teachers. These mainly positive perceptions of the supervisors’ contribution seem to favourably predispose student teachers. However, considering some problems expressed by student teachers, collaborative efforts should be considered to improve the practicum learning opportunity.
