Abstract

In 1978, The Canadian Journal of Education (vol. 3, no. 1) published the first part of our study of the process of creativity which we may also call the process of intellectual act.

The concern of the present paper is to pursue this reflexion and to verify our hypothesis that the process of creativity happens when the cerebral cortex is mobilized and an equilibrium is established between the energies of the two hemispheres, illustrating what we call “Stage T” or “third included.”

The results obtained in this study indicate the degree of the equilibrium achieved between the energies of the two hemispheres during activities called creative. This research only touches the surface of creativity and we hope to return to this topic at a future date.
