Shelley M. Griffin is an Associate Professor of Elementary Music Education in Brock University’s Faculty of Education, St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. Her research interests include children’s music narratives, pre-service music teacher education, narrative inquiry, informal faculty mentorship, and collaborative scholarship. She is published in several journals and edited books, and has presented at various international conferences. Also, Shelley is an active musician in the Niagara region, performing regularly as a flutist and soprano with Avanti Chamber Singers.

Darlene Ciuffetelli Parker is a Professor in the Faculty of Education at Brock University. Her research program and method of narrative inquiry are intricately interwoven, publishing and fostering deeper understanding in areas of: poverty, literacy, mental health, equity, diversity, and curriculum. She is widely published and has received the Early Career Award of the Narrative Research Special Interest Group AERA, the Award for Excellence in Teaching at Faculty of Education at Brock University, and the Brock University Award for Distinguished Teaching. Ciuffetelli Parker was a school administrator, literacy consultant, and teacher in Toronto before joining Brock University.

At the time the Leader 2 Leader Program was completed, Jacqueline Skytt was the Assistant Executive Secretary of the Alberta Teachers’ Association. Her portfolio included professional development programming for school administrators across Alberta. Her research interest was to evaluate Cognitive Coaching as a peer coaching strategy to support leadership development in school principals new to their role. Jacqueline holds an MSc, Curriculum and Instructional Leadership from the University of Oregon, a PDAD, Secondary Education and a BSc, Home Economics from the University of Alberta. Jacqueline recently retired from the Alberta Teachers’ Association and now works as a professional development consultant.

In 2004, he received a life-time achievement award through the Criminal Justice Section of the Canadian Psychology Association, and in 2009 the Bishop Cody Award by the National St. Leonard’s Society for contribution to community corrections. His current research interests are reflected in the following books: Everybody’s Children: Proceedings of the Western University Forum on School-based Mental Health (2013), and Serious and Violent Young Offenders and Youth Criminal Justice: A Canadian Perspective (2014).

Dr. Susan Rodger is a Psychologist and Associate Professor in the Graduate Program in Counselling Psychology at the Faculty of Education at Western University, and a Research Associate at the Centre for Research and Education on Violence Against Women and Children, and the Centre for School-Based Mental Health. She works within the education and child welfare systems to enhance awareness and capacity with respect to both adult and child mental health. Her research interests include barriers to mental health treatment, mental health literacy for teachers, teacher candidates and foster care providers, the influence of exposure to violence on learning, inclusive education and outcome measurement.
