Dr. Kate Freeman has been working in the field of Indigenous education for over thirty years. After completing an Honours B.A. in Native Studies at Trent University, she earned a master’s and a doctoral degree at the University of Toronto. Her studies in Adult Education concentrated on program development and Indigenous education. She is currently serving as program manager for the Aboriginal Teacher Education Program (ATEP) at Queen’s University Faculty of Education.
